  New Guidelines for the 2008 Festival.

The Grayson Highlands Fall Festival Arts and Crafts Committee selects craft persons to participate in the festive event based on the premise that their crafts are:
1) Handmade
2) Of good quality with emphasis on homestead crafts
3) No “flea market” items are allowed for resale
4) No “ready to eat” food items.
5) No t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, or cookbooks can be sold
6) No apple butter or molasses can be sold
That the majority of ones selected are regional (local) crafts persons.
The variety of crafts being exhibited for sale will include natural art, paintings, basket weaving, craft dolls, puppets and art toys, crochet, floral arrangements, quilting, jewelry, leather goods, musical instrument making, needle work, pottery, wood craving, and black powder musket making.

The Crafts Committee will screen all vendors for compliance and for any items not approved for sale prior to festival. Any questions regarding the selection process should be directed to the Crafts Committee.

This year the hours of operation are 10am-5pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
